Hydrogenated TiO2/N-doped graphene composites were synthesized via hydrothermal process and annealing in Ar/H2 atmosphere. The crystal structure of the as-synthesized samples was examined by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), and their morphology and surface images were obtained by high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (HR-SEM). The surface features of samples was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The textural properties of samples were examined by N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm at 77 K. The photocatalytic efficiency was monitored using methyl orange under solar light irradiation. As a result, hydrogenated TiO2/N-doped graphene composites demonstrated impressive photocatalytic efficiency, due to hydrogenated TiO2, the incorporation of nitrogen dopant ions and charge carrying properties of graphene. |
