Anticancer Activity of Methotrexate-conjugatedPoly(ethyleneglycol)-b-Poly(ε-caprolactone) Nanoparticles |

In this study, we have synthesized methotrexate (MTX)-conjugated Poly(ethyleneglycol)-b-Poly(ε-caprolactone) (PEGCL) and prepared nanoparticles by nanoprecipitation and dialysis method without use of surfactant. Chemical composition of MTX-conjugated PEGCL was confirmed with FT-IR and 1H-NMR. The morphology and size of the nanoparticles were characterized using TEM and DLS. MTX-conjugated PEGCL nanoparticles exerted in vitro anticancer activity against KB cells that was comparable to the activity of free MTX. |
