제목 Synthesis of Nanosized NiO by the Gel Combustion Method
초록 When using Polyvinyl Alcohol(PVA) as polymer basic for the gel combustion method, nickel oxide powder has been synthesized by the combustion of gel from PVA and nickel nitrate at low temperature (600℃). NiO characterization was determined by X-ray Diffraction(XRD), Thermogravimetric and Differential Thermal Analysis(TG-DTA), Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM) and Brunaure Emmet Teller(BET).
The gel combustion method was a successful method with short time for synthesis, with basic raw materials and without special equipment. The simple phase of NiO was obtained from thermal treatment at 600℃ for 2 h. The optimum of synthesis method with ratio Ni/PVA was 1:3 by mol, pH = 4, gel formation temperature at 80℃. The specific surface area of NiO nanopowders was 32.57 m2/g and average particle size was less than 30 nm.
