제목 One-step synthesis of VO2 using seeding
초록 The excess electrical power consumption leads to power crisis and might cause ‘blackout’ and have an impact on many social problems. To reduce energy consumption, many research focus on  ‘Smart window’. VO2 shows fully reversible first-order metal-to-insulator transition with the phase transition temperature (Tc) at about 680C and the transmittance for IR is changeable, so it is expected to be able to apply for the smart window which can reduce energy consumption for building. Various technologies have been developed to synthesize VO2, but most of them are complicated. Among them, hydrothermal method has the high possibility for application because the route is simple and requires low temperature. Finally, we synthesized pure Mo doped VO2 by using VO2 seed at lower temperature than other research and it is useful to realize for the smart window application.
