제목 Porous carbon-based supercapacitor via recycling of cattle manure
초록 Organic waste, such as cattle manure, is asignificant matter because of its disruptive impact on the environment. For thedisposal and reclaim of cattle manure, upcycling strategies should be essentialto reconvert huge amounts of the waste. In this study, a pyrolysis process wasused to reclaim value from cattle manure and transformed into pyrolytic gas,pyrolytic liquid, and porous carbon material. The porous carbon material wascarbonized and activation process to make a supercapacitor electrode. Theporous carbon material was carbonized and activation process to make asupercapacitor electrode of a hierarchical porous carbon (termed as CMPC). Thebicontinuous structure of CMPC provide good electron and ion transportpathways, leading fast charge-discharge. Specifically, in a basic solutionelectrolyte, CMPC electrode exhibits significant specific capacitance of 146 Fg−1 at 2 A g−1 and high rate-performance (62% oflow-capacitance).
