Development of electrocatalyst anodes for water treatment |
| 초록 |
Electrochemical advanced oxidation processes (EAOPs) have several advantages over conventional ones including simple setup of the electrode couple (anode and cathode), relatively easy and cost-effective fabrication of electrodes, and mineralization of most aqueous pollutants at ambient temperature and pressure. The efficiency of EAOPs depends strongly on the type of anode and electrolyte, and applied power (current and voltage), among which the anode is the most critical component because of the initiation of the overall electrochemical process on its surface. Details on anodes will be discussed. |
