DerP1 is a biomarker of mite contamination in door. In thisstudy, DerP1-specific screen-printed electrodes were constructed, and the detectioncapability was determined. The surface of electrodes was modified with carbonnanotubes, to enhance the electronic signals from the binding of DerP1 and itsantibody probe. The detection limit was determined as sub-nanomolarconcentration. The DerP1 proteins were spiked into filtrate of indoor air dusts, and its concentration was determined to verify a disturbance effect of complexmixture in the analysis of DerP1 from indoor air. This result showed that theDerP1 biosensor based on screen-printed electrode could be a field-optimized kitto detect environmental contaminants in rapid and convenient way, in lowdetection limit enough to identify the actual environmental concentration insamples. |
