제목 Transparent Dielectric Elastomer Actuators using Conducting Polymers for Opto-electro-Mechanical Applications
초록 Dielectric elastomers with low elastic stiffness and high dielectric constant are smart material systems which produce large strains (up to 300%) and belong to the group of electroactive polymers (EAP). The actuation of EAP is caused by electrostatic forces between two electrodes which squeeze the polymer. In this study, we fabricated transparent dielectric elastomer actuators (DEA) which are composed of transparent elastomer coated on both sides with conducting polymer as electrodes. The experiment results measured strain and transmittance of DEA clearly show that it has potential applications in opto-electro-mechanics
