제목 Effects of Silane-treated Silica Filler on Adhesion Behaviors of Biomass Epoxy Adhesives for Electronic Components
초록 The effect of silica addition on mechanical properties of silica-filled biomass epoxy adhesives was examined. The silica was treated by γ -methacryloxy propyltrimethoxy silane (MPS), γ -glycidoxy propyl trimethoxy silane (GPS), and γ -mercapto propyl trimethoxy silane (MCPS) for better compatibility between silica and epoxy resin. Mechanical properties such as T-peel test had been estimated using the universal testing machine (UTM). As a result, it the Peel strength of the silica-filled biomass epoxy adhesives was increased after silane coupling agent treatments. This result indicated that the silane coupling agent treatments played an important role in improving the dispersion in biomass epoxy adhesives.
