제목 Optimization of ultrasonic assisted extraction process using response surface methodology
초록 The interest in health of modern society is increasing more and more, with the development of medical technology and average life expectancy also tends to increase. Therefore study on aging has been continued. The fact that it is impossible to completely suppress the aging phenomenon but possible to slow down the aging speed is verified. An essential substance for this purpose is antioxidant. Excess accumulation of reactive oxygen species produced in the body can cause various diseases and aging. It is important to ingest a sufficient amount of antioxidant to eliminate this. The active ingredients contained in antioxidant include polyphenol and flavonoid.
In this study we measured polyphenol and flavonoid content after extracting the active ingredient from lemon grass which is known to have high content of antioxidant ingredients. In addition we presented optimal extraction conditions of active ingredients  using response surface methodology.
