Highly efficient color filter using fluorescent material, (Z)-3-(4'-(dimethylamino)biphenyl-4-yl)-2-phenylacrylonitrile |
초록 |
The purpose of this study is to increase the efficiency of color filter using intramolecular energy transfer (IET) process. Photoinduced intramolecular energy transfer of (Z)-3-(4'-(dimethylamino)biphenyl-4-yl)-2-phenylacrylonitrile (DMABPPAN) in chloroform was investigated and mixed with common green color resist. Then, the mixed solution was coated on a glass substrate and compared with common green color resist as a point of reference. Also, we made fluorescence filters with the DMABPPAN in chloroform. It is proposed that the IET of DMABPPAN increases the light transmittance of color filter. The DMABPPAN was synthesized from 4-Bromobenzaldehyde. The fluorescence emission spectrum of DMABPPAN dissolved in chloroform was taken by the Photo Luminescence spectrometer using an excitation wavelength of 395 nm. The light transmiittance of green color filter using the DMABPPAN in chloroform was increased approximately 5~7% than that of common green color filter |
