Determined the Solubility Parameter of Epoxy Resin |

Polymer such as epoxy resin is used additives for the reason physical properties, hardening acceleration, decreasing viscosity. Therefore, Diluent selection is important for these additives blend well in the resin. The choice of these solvents are determined by comparing the Solubility parameter. The Solubility parameter is easily calculated by Group contribution of component. But, you can not calculate Solubility parameter values because the polymer chain length is not exactly accurate. In this study, it is a measure of the intrinsic viscosity of epoxy resin by Ubbelohde viscometer and epoxy resin is calculated Solubility parameter through intrinsic viscosity. |
