제목 The effect of different oil types on the dispersion stability and transdermal administration of lipid emulsion prepared by Microfluidizer
초록 Cosmetic products as diverse as skin, cream and lotion depend on emulsions such as nanoemulsion, microemulsion and lipid emulsion for their properties. In this study, lipid emulsion prepared by microfluidizer known as high pressure homogenizer. It was formed bilayer with hydrogenated lecithin and include different oil types. Arbutin was used as model drug for transdermal administration through hairless mouse skin. Arbutin is a glycosylated hydroquinone found at high concentration in certain plants capable of surviving extreme and sustained dehydration. It has been suggested as an inhibitory compound of melanogenesis. We investigated dispersion stability as different oil types of lipid emulsion by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Zeta-potential. Transdermal administration of model drug through hairless mouse skin .was investigated with HPLC method.
