In this study, prepared the Levan-phytoncide(LP) nanocapsule containing a small amount of phytoncide and encapsulated in a hydrogel and observed properties. The hydrogel made by freeze-thawing method was prepared by using Prethanol-A(Pre-A) so that gelation could be facilitated. LP nanocapsule was prepared at the rate, 50:1(LP50), 100:1(LP100), 200:1(LP200), the capsule size was adjusted to a nanometer size by using a homogenizer. Capsules were manufactured to determine the thermal stability using the TGA, the cell viability was evaluated by MTT assay. The hydrogel was prepared by Tamarind gum, and evaluated the physical properties of the hydrogel according to Pre-A content. Evaluation of physical properties was conducted by using swelling ratio, SEM, FT-IR results. Swelling ratio was the highest when the hydrogel was prepared by 15% Pre-A solution, the content of the Pre-A had an important effect on the hydrogel. |
