제목 The Characterization of Surface morphology of Silica-coated composite particles and their optical property
초록 In this study, silica layer coated monodisperse poly(MMA-co-TMSPM) copolymer particles were produced by dispersion polymerization. Silica-coated organic-inorganic hybrid particles were obtained via sol-gel process. In order to coat silica layer on the particle surface, type and the concentration of catalyst were modulated. The effect of catalyst on the particle size and surface morphology was investigated. To confirm the effect of kinds of catalyst, ethylene diamine, monoethanol amine, di-n-butylamine, triethylamine were used as catalyst. Surface morphology of particles was monitored with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and finally optical property of the hybrid particle was observed.
