제목 | Enhancement of Single Mixed Refrigerant cycle using hydraulic turbine |
초록 | The objective of this study was to reduce the energy consumption in SMR based cryogenic liquefaction cycle used in LNG plant through cycle enhancement and process optimization used in the LNG plant. Aspen Hysys® simulator was used to investigate the potential benefits of Hydraulic turbines (HT) to recover the expansion loses. Consequently, modified coordinate descent algorithm was used in the optimization of enhanced SMR cycle. The resultant saving in the power compare to the optimized conventional SMR base case was about 16.49%, and 25.6% after efficient utilization of recovered energy respectively.
