Tissue Engineered Characterization of Silk/PLGA Hybrid Scaffold by Mechanical Property and Cell Compatibility Assay. |
초록 |
The design of new bioactive scaffolds mimicking the physiologic environment present during tissue formation is an important frontier in biomaterials research. In this study, we investigated the effect of silk/PLGA on adhesion, proliferation and inflammatory responses of RAW 264.7 and NIH/3T3. PLGA scaffolds incorporated with different amount of silk were prepared by the solvent casting/salt leaching method and characterized by Camscopy and SEM. NIH/3T3 cells and RAW 264.7 cells were cultured on PLGA and silk/PLGA, and then examined proliferation by the MTT assay and SEM observation. The result of MTT assay revealed that 20 and 30% silk in silk/PLGA scaffolds were superior to proliferation of cell. Therefore, pertinent content of biomaterials could provide more appropriate condition on adhesion and proliferation of cell. In conclusion, we suggest that silk/PLGA may be useful to tissue engineering applications. This research was supported by SCRC(SC4110) and WCU (R31-20029). |
