제목 Thermal, mechanical, rheological properties and shape memory effects of maleated polyolefin elastomer/Nylon11 blend nanocomposites with halloysite nanotube
초록 Polymer nanocomposites reinforced with small amounts of inorganic nanofillers have been regarded as a important class of materials. Halloysite nanotube (HNT), a tubular type nanoclay, has been recognized as an effective nanofiller for various polymers. In this study, we observe that maleated semicrystalline polyolefin elastomer (mPOE)/nylon 11 blends prepared by a melt mixing exhibit thermoplastic elastomer-like behavior along with shape memory effects when the nylon 11 content is up to 30 wt% in the blend. mPOE/nylon 11 blend (70/30) nanocomposites with HNT were also fabricated by melt mixing process, and their thermal, mechanical, rheological properties and shape memory effects were investigated.
