Acrylate Functionalized Cadmium Free In(Zn)P/ZnS Quantum Dots for Photopatterning |
초록 |
Quantum dots (QDs) are semiconductor nanoparticles. They exhibits strong fluorescence compared to typical dyes due to their high quantum yield and a large extinction coefficient. In addition, different size of QDs of the same material give fluorescence at different wavelengths. The smaller the size of the particle leads to fluorescence at short wavelength. Quantum dots that contains the heavy metals have a number of limitations and risks because of their toxicity. Here we have synthesized environment friendly heavy metal free In(Zn)S/ZnS quantum dots. Quantum dots were characterized by FT-IR, UV, PL and TEM image. Photopatternable quantum dots were synthesized by simple chemical functionalization and ligand exchange on the synthesized quantum dots. The detailed chemical procedure and the results are presented in the poster. |
