Water soluble π-conjugated polymer between active (or emissive) layer and metal (or ITO) electrode is known that the performances of the devices are improved that those of the devices without water soluble polymers. This is due to that the water soluble polymer modifies the work function of metal and ITO electrode. In our earlier work, we synthesized water-soluble polymer based on phenothiazine (PT) and fluorene (Flu) derivatives. The performance of the PLED and PSCs based on water-soluble polymer as an electron transporting layer is dramatically improved than without water-soluble polymer. However, it is very hard to control the synthetic condition and purification. In order to solve theses disadvantage, we have tried to synthesize water soluble π-conjugated oligomer. In this presentation, we will report synthesis, optical, electrochemical and device performances based on water soluble π-conjugated oligomer. |
