Hyaluronan-quercetin pendant drug conjugate for wound healing |

This work describe the synthesis of a water soluble Hyaluronan-quercetin (HA-QA) pendant drug conjugate for potential wound healing properties. The HA-QA was confirmed by FTIR, UV and NMR spectrospies. The conjugate show good biocompatible and provide growth and cell migration of skin fibroblasts and keratinocyte cells. The HA-QA presented improved radical scavenger capacity compared to QA. The conjugate also showed good antibacterial activity. The overall results confirmed the its potentiality for wound healing property. |
