Phenol destruction in supercritical water has been carried out in previous works using oxygen as an oxidant, but destruction study using hydrogen peroxide, a comparable oxidant to oxygen, has not reported yet. In this work, we destroyed phenol in supercritical water by using hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant and compared the results with that of previous works using oxygen. From the results, the global equation and the effect of each parameter on reaction rate were determined. The comparison between this work and previous works and the effect of each parameter suggest a multi-step reaction model to estimate conversion reasonably.
