제목 Synthesis of 1H-Imidazole Amphiphiles and Their Application for Silica Sol-Gel Reaction
초록 1H-imidazole amphiphiles where an imidazole head was connected to hydrophilic ethylene glycol chains via an ester linkage were synthesized and used as a catalyst for silica sol-gel reaction. For comparison, we also synthesized 1H-imidazole compounds having methyl or 4-methoxy benzyl group instead of ethylene glycol chains. These compounds were used as a catalyst for silica sol-gel reaction with or without a surfactant to produce silica materials showing different morphologies. We explored the possibility of morphology control using the 1H-imidazole amphiphiles without a surfactant.
