To describe the behavior of the passive layer formed at the interface of the lithium solid polymer electrolyte (SPE), we develop a new melting point depression theory based on the modified double lattice-nonrandom (MDL-NR) model that takes into account the local composition concept for solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)/salt systems in Lithium Secondary battery. Two interfacial structure are considered: solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) and porous electrolyte interphase (PEI). Systems used in this study are various PEO/zinc halides or lithium salts. In comparison with experimental data, each model, SEI and PEI, results different trend in the quantitative description of the voltage drop in the interface. The obtained results show that the interfacial property of lithium cell is affected by the bulk property of the electrolyte. |
