제목 Triglyceride oil 의 수소화 반응용 니켈촉매에서 조촉매의 역할에 관한 연구
초록 Vegetable oils are complex mixtures of triglycerides of fatty acids with 12-22 carbon atoms which may have 0-3 double bonds in each of hydrocarbon chain. The purpose of this reaction is to reduce the level of linolenic acid with minimal synthesis of stearic acid. In this reaction the production of trans fatty acid isomers is not favourable. Nickel catalysts on silica, kieselguhr or alumina are commonly used in vegetable oil hydrogenation. In this work, the effect of promoter on the characteristics of nickel catalysts and performance of triglyceride oil hydrogenation. Catalysts were prepared varying in : loading of metal and promoter, preparation procedure(time and/or temperature in precipitation procedure) and activation condition. Catalyst characterization was carried out by BET, XRD and TPR. Catalytic activity has been tested in the soybean oil hydrogenation carried out in a batch reactor. Compositions of products were determined by using GC and FT-IR. The catalysts containing Mg as a promoter showed good activity and selectivity.
