AIST is one of the largest institutes in Japan for research on science and technology. It has the main research center in Tsukuba Science City. This talk introduces the topics related to circuit printing with sub-micron dots by ink-jet, ultra-low bias operation of carbon nanotube field emitter, aggregation control of liquid-crystal colloids by light, light-emitting semiconductor nanoparticles in glass matrix, solution-processed organic TFT for LCD drivers, synthesis of electroluminescent materials using microwave irradiation, etc. |
