제목 Synthesis of poly(ethylene oxide) -b- poly(1-vinyl imidazole) via RAFT radical polymerization and its use proparation of iron oxide nanoparticles
초록 We have successfully synthesized water-soluble block copolymer exhibiting pH-responsive phase transition behavior via RAFT radical polymerization of 1-vinyl imidazole using AIBN and PEO-based RAFT agent. Using the RAFT agent and AIBN as an initiator, RAFT radical polymerization of 1-vinyl imidazole(VI) was successfully performed in DMF at 100℃ for 48h. Considering the result for the polymerization, the rate of RAFT radical polymerization of 1-vinyl imidazole seems to be dependent of initiation step kinetically. The resulting block copolymer exhibiting pH-sensitive phase transition behavior was successfully used as polymeric stabilizer for preparation of nano-sized iron oxide particles. For these experiments, we will show the results.
