Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) film has been considered to be the most promising candidate for transparent electrode because of their high electrical conductivity and flexibility. However, their poor solubility and dispersibility due to strong van der Waals interaction between each other limit their practical application. Few reports have focused on highly transparent, conductive and uniform SWCNT thin film prepared via solution process, although it has recently been reported that transparent SWCNT films can be fabricated with a wide range of surfactants through various processes such as vacuum filtration or drop casting. In this study, we prepared the transparent and conductive SWCNT films by solution process using oligothiophene-terminated poly(ethylene glycol) as a surfactant in aqueous media. The high transparency, conductivity and uniformity of SWCNT thin film suggest that SWCNT films fabricated via solution process can be used as anode in polymer solar cells. |
