The industry of PV(Photovoltaic) cells has brightly been developing in the energy markets because of infinite potential to convert sunlight into voltaic current. In the process by which PV cells are fabricated, frits are used for interconnecting Ag electrode with SixNy layer in PV cells. That is why glass frits enable interface layers between Ag electrode and SixNy layer to be firmly interconnected. Our goal is to develop the composition of frits for accomplishing a good ohmic contact. In firing, thermal and chemical behaviors of frits should carefully be considered because of the etching rate of SixNy layer, the CTE, Tg, Ts and thickness of glass frits layer. All those properties of frits have influence on the ohmic contact. However, there are few works related to glass frits in the field of PV cell. First of all, the CTE, Tg and Ts are required for preventing disconnection between interfaces and finding the relation between Tg, Ts and the etching rate of SixNy layer. It would be possible to develop the proper composition of frits to get a good ohmic contact with understanding experimental data we have studied. |
