Rapid advances in wearable electronics have increased much interest for flexible energy storage devices recently. Carbon fibers (CFs) have attracted considerable attention as a promising material for flexible supercapacitors due to their unique properties such as high surface area, large electrode-electrolyte contact areas, and flexibility. Herein, we aimed to modify PAN CFs with PR so as to enhance its electrochemical properties. Firstly, 10wt % PR solution was prepared by dissolving PR in ethanol. Then CFs were soaked into PR solution for different time(10~120 min), the obtained CFs were denoted as CFPs. Afterwards, the CFPs were dried at 80oC for 24 hrs, followed by heating to 850oC for 30 min in N2. Finally, the O2 activation were carried out in O2 at 300, 325, 350, and 375oC, respectively. The morphologies and microstructures of all samples were measured by SEM, FT-IR, XRD, and Raman. The electrochemical properties of the modified CFPs were investigated. |
