Comparison of electrochemical performances of NiCo2O4/MWCNTs hybrids prepared by a dry synthesis and hydrothermal method |
초록 |
A well-dispersed and nanostructured NiCo2O4/MWCNT hybrids as electrocatalysts for the methanol electro-oxidation as well as electrode materials for high performance supercapacitors were synthesized by a dry synthesis and hydrothermal method without using any harmful reagents. The as-prepared NiCo2O4/MWCNT nanohybrids were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and selected area energy dispersive spectrum. The NiCo2O4/MWCNT nanohybrids exhibited significantly higher electrocatalytic activity, exhibiting higher current density and lower potential as well as superior pseudocapacitive properties, compared to those of single Co3O4 and NiO. The detailed electrochemical performance of NiCo2O4/MWCNT hybrids will be thoroughly discussed in the conference. |
