제목 Synthesis of Thin layer and hydrophilic Graphene oxide by surface modification method with PEOs
초록 Graphite shows lots of possibilities to produce new carbonaceous materials such as graphene and carbon nano-sheets. Exfoliation of graphene from graphite becomes a hot subject in the recent research. Hummers’ method is a basic method to get graphene oxide. However this method showed disadvantages such as very low yield and using lots of acids to get graphene oxide. In this study, we provide more efficient method for synthesis of thin layer graphene. This modification method provides well oxidized hydrophilic graphitic oxide (GO). The graphitic oxide (GO) may be modified through the reaction with poly(ethylene oxide) leading to generation of water soluble graphene oxide. Moreover, this method may provide efficient route to get mass production of graphene. In this presentation, we will discuss the efficient methodology to modify the graphene surface.
