제목 Modified fuzzy-sliding mode control method with filter
초록 The sliding mode control method has been applied in various fields due mainly to its inherent robustness for the system uncertainty and disturbances. But chattering due to the intermittent switching of control inputs is not uncommon in the application of the sliding mode control. In this study, a new sliding mode control is designed by incorporating the fuzzy algorithm and the filter into the sliding mode control scheme to improve the performance of the classical sliding mode control. The process input values are calculated based on the combination of the control laws obtained from sliding mode control scheme and the fuzzy algorithm. The filter is employed to remove oscillations and improve tracking performance to the set point. The modified fuzzy-sliding mode control with filter is applied to the control of processes with time delay to investigate the control performance of the proposed control scheme. Results of control simulations are compared with those by PID and the conventional sliding mode control method.
