High Performance Organic Diode with Ferroelectic / Semiconducting Polymer Blends |

The recent development of high performance organic electronic devices based on organic materials including solar cells, organic thin film transistors(OTFT), and memory devices is remarkable. In these applications, the organic dopde need to exhibit a sufficient rectifiacation ratio at low voltage. Here we demonstrate solution processed organic diode with Poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)/Poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene)(PVDF-TrFE) polymer blends. In this system, vertical phase separation is occurred between P3HT and PVDF-TrFE at the interface with the metal. We have used LiF/Al top layer to block the reverse current significantly and the device shows stable and reliable rectification ratio about 105 at 5 voltages. |
