Control of Triisopropylsilylethynyl Pentacene Single Crystals and transfer printing for Ferroelectric Memory Applications |
초록 |
Organic semiconductor of the electric device such as organic transistor and memory has drawn a great attraction due to its mobility determining the device performance. Crystallinity of the organic semiconductor affects the hole and electron mobility directly engaged to the device performance. The work presents a growth of single crystalline triisopropylsilylethynyl pentacene (TIPS-PEN) with large size and uniform thickness. Grown TIPS-PEN single crystal on the various surfaces with Self-Assembled Monolayers (SAMs) is transferred into the other substrate for transistor and memory applications. Well defined TIPS-PEN single crystals via Selective Contact Evaporation Printing (SCEP) show characteristic p-type current modulation with On/Off ratio and field effect mobility of 106 and 0.4 cm2/Vs, respectively. And ferroelectric memory properties show the On/Off bistability of 105 and 200min data retention. |
