제목 | Improvement of electrochemical performance by reducing residual lithium hydroxide on LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 active material using a polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene(PCTFE). |
초록 | Recently, LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cathode materials have attracted much attention due to their relatively low cost and high capacity [1]. However, they were very unstable due to CO2, H2O absorption. In this study, we were coated a Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) in cathode material so as to do reduce residual lithium hydroxide (LiOH) and up to improve electrochemical performance. The PCTFE-coated LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 was characterized transmission electronic microscopy (TEM), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX). Result show that residual lithium hydroxide (LiOH) reduced than pristine cathode material and coated electrode exhibited high discharge capacity of 190.82 mAhg-1 at 0.1C (17mAg-1) than bare electrode (163.04 mAhg-1). This was supported by Korea National University of Transportation in 2016. |
