Among the reported processing methods, the addition of solvent additives during the processing of the active layer is the simplest and more effective approach to optimize the morphology of the active layer in non-fullerene-based organic solar cells (NF-OSCs). However, the use of typical insulating polymers as a polymer processing additive has been rarely investigated so far. Herein, we report a new poly(2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorostyrene) (PPFS) polymer processing additive that contains high contents of F atoms, demonstrating a high efficiency of up to 9.29% upon adding optimal amount of PPFS into an archetype of high-performance PBDB-T:ITIC NF-OSCs. |
