Preparation and characterization of alginate/multi-walled carbon nanotubes/maghemite composite beads for Cu(Ⅱ) removal |
초록 |
The alginate/multi-walled carbon nanotubes/maghemite composite beads were prepared by w/o emulsion method in order to improve Cu(II) ions removal and superparamagnetic property. Their structure and morphology were investigated by both scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. Magnetic characterization of the composite bead was carried out by magnetometer. The Cu(II) adsorption capability was measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer. Cu(II) adsorption capability increased with increasing the contents of alginate and multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The alginate/multi-walled carbon nanotubes/maghemite composite beads could be successfully separated from the waste water mixture by magnetic method after Cu(II) removal. |
