제목 Electrochemical actuator behavior of poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid)/oxyfluorinated multi-walled carbon nanotubes composite hydrogels
초록 Poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(acrylic acid) hydrogels containing oxyfluorinated MWCNT were prepared by radical polymerization and solution-casting method. To improve the conductivity of hydrogel matrix, MWCNT were added into PVA/PAAc membranes. Oxyfluorination of MWCNT was performed in order to disperse MWCNT uniformly in the hydrogel matrix. The morphology of composite hydrogel was observed by scanning electron microscope. The electrochemical actuator performance of the composite hydrogel was evaluated based on the bending angle under various voltages and NaCl concentrations. The dispersion of MWCNTs in the hydrogel matrix was improved by the surface modification through direct oxyfluorination. The actuator showed stepwise bending behavior depending on the electric stimulus.
