Hyaluronate-based hydrogels for tissue regeneration |
초록 |
Hyaluronate is one of widely utilized materials in biomedical areas due to its excellent biocompatibility. However, most hyaluronate hydrogels are typically prepared in the presence of excipient chemical reagents that may cause toxicity in the body. Here, we report how hyaluronate hydrogels can be fabricated using additional polysaccharide without toxic chemical cross-linking agents. The mechanical properties of hyaluronate hydrogels were varied depending on type and concentration of polysaccharide. The efficacy of tissue regeneration in the body was evaluated by subcutaneous injection of primary chondrocyte/hyaluronate hydrogel mixtures into a mouse model. Hyaluronate hydrogels may find useful applications in cell delivery for tissue regeneration as well as in many drug delivery fields. |
