Model validation of multi-stage membrane processes with bench-scale experimental data for CO2 capture |
초록 |
In order achieve both high purity and recovery of CO2 from coal-fired power plant flue gas, it is acceptable that a configuration of a multi-stage cascades is necessary. However, the validation of developed membrane model focused on only single membrane module process. There was no guarantee of computational multi-stage cascades and operating conditions to show a corresponding result in real process. Here, we developed multi-stage membrane process with superstructure approach and suggested optimized configuration under the identical experimental environment. It was confirmed that the optimized data has a good agreement with the experimental results under 5 % errors. This approach is expected to apply to design the commercial-scale membrane process with reasonable accuracy.
