Self-assembly of rod-coil block copolymers has attracted extensive attention since the conjugation of rod block affords to tune the molecular organization and optoelectronic properties. Their phase behavior has been mainly studied based on polyfluorene, polyphenylene and polythiophene, which are confined in the class of homopolymer. Alternating conjugated copolymers have advantages of tuning the electrical and optical properties via the intra molecular charge transfer. Therefore, it is required to develop rod (alternating copolymer)-coil block copolymers. Here, we designed and synthesized a series of poly(fluorene-alt-phenylene)-graft-poly(2-vinylpyridien) (PFP-g-P2VP) via Suzuki-polycondensation and click chemistry to produce a variety of ordered nanostructures. The structures were confirmed by NMR, FT-IR and GPC. Their optical and phase behavior in different volume fraction will be discussed in detail. |
