In this study focused on achieving identified the influence of the content and formation of diluents that affect the pore features and properties of microporous membrane on the separator manufacturing for Li secondary battery by wet process. A microporous membrane was made by these steps : (1) extruding the HDPE and diluents, (2) stretching the extruded sheet to make film, (3) extracting the diluents with TCE solvent, (4) drying and annealing to improve the crystalline structure. Diluents were composed of Liquid paraffin and Dioctylphthalate(DOP). As the content of the diluents increased, the microporous membrane's porosity and permeability increased. In addition, poresize, porosity and air permeability property of the membrane improved with the increase of DOP composition in diluents, whereas the physical properties decreased. |
