π-Conjugated polymers find of considerable interest active materials both in academic and industrial research due to its device application such as light-emitting diodes, polymer laser, field effect transistors and solar cells. Light-emitting derived from a new class of -conjugated polymers, well-defined poly(N-substituted-2,7-carbazole) derivatives are reported. These polymers are stable to air, good solubility in common organic solvents and had better electrochemical and optical properties. In this study, we synthesized poly[(9-hexyl-9H-carbazole)-co-(9-(5-(9H-carbazole-9-yl)hexyl)-3-(4-phenylquinilin-2-yl)-9H-carbazole)], poly[(9,9’-dioctyl-9H-fluorene)-co-(9-(5-(9H-carbazole-9-yl)hexyl)-3-(4-phenylquinilin-2-yl)-9H-carbazole)] by Suzuki coupling polymerization method. The structure and properties of those polymers were characterized by analytical technique such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Elemental Analysis, GPC, DSC, TGA, UV-visible and emission spectra. |
