제목 Nonchlorinated solution processing using asymmetric DPP-based ambipolar conjugated polymers
초록 Great interest for environmentally friendly solvent processing have been attracted to solve a substantial obstacle for the electronic device fabrication beyond the laboratory scale and/or legal regulations in use of these solvents in industry due to high chronic toxicity of chlorinated solvents. Here, we approached irregular synthetic method using structural asymmetry. Beyond side-chain engineering, the introduction of structural asymmetry of monomers with an asymmetric conjugated segments enables irregularity in main backbone without disruption in molecular stacking ordering. The environmentally friendly organic semiconducting materials can be used in commercial and practical solution coating and printing processes such as inkjet printing and roll-to-roll processes.
