Synthesis of Hyperbranched Polyimide/polyamide and its composites with Polyamide 66. |

Hyperbranched polymers have well known as its special properties, such as good solubility, low viscosity, and enhanced compatibility with other polymers due to their branching and 3-dimensional dendritic architecture. In this study, we synthesized high-performance hyperbranched polyimides and polyamides with semi-aromatic structure because of giving thermal stability. The new polyimides and polyamides were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NNR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), IR spectroscopy. Also, these polymers were compounded as viscosity modifiers with polyamide 66 and showed motor toque simultaneously. In order to adjust polyamide processing temperature, temperature condition was keeping 280℃ and screw speed was 80rpm and mixing time was 4minutes. Using capillary rheometer, performance of flow modifiers was evaluated with in-situ spiral flow mold and shear viscosities of the composites were investigated. |
