In this work, the influence of initiator content on electron-beam (EB) curing of diglycidylether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) resin was studied in thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR). And the content of benzylquinoxalinium hexafluoroantimonate (BQH) as an initiator was varied within of 0.5, 1, 2, and 3 phr. As experimental results, the decomposed activation energy determined from Coats-Redfern method was increased with increasing the initiator content. However, it was decreased above 2 phr content. This result was probably due to the fact that the cross-linking density was restricted by the formation of free radicals. Also, the chemical conversion determined from NIR absorption band at the 4530 cm-1 was showed a similar value except for 0.5 phr. Base on the thermal properties and chemical conversions, the optimum content of the initiator was 1 phr to the difunctional epoxy resin.
