제목 In-situ Noble Fabrication of Bi2S3/BiVO4 Hybrid Nanostructure through Photoelectrochemical Transformation Process for Solar Hydrogen Production
초록 The unique Bi2S3/BiVO4 core shell nanostructures were prepared by a new photoelectrochemical transformation of drop coated BiVO4 and additionally, the capability of these photoelectrodes during hydrogen generation was also studied. The photoelectrochemical transformation process not only effectively controls the phase and morphology but also reduces the bandgap and helps to increases the majority carrier mobility, enhancing electron–hole separation. The phase composition and structure of the Bi2S3/BiVO4 nanostructures were further systematically characterized by various techniques including X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) mapping. Furthermore, the photoelectrochemical stability and performance of the Bi2S3/BiVO4 nanostructures were found to be dependent on the concentrations of precursors.
