Fabrication and characterization of barium titanate/polyimide hybrid nanoparticles for high-K polymer nanocomposite |

High dielectric particles have recently much become of great interest. These high dielectric materials have a high degree of applications, creating nanocomposites that can be processed in the form of thin film, sheet, and structure parts either. In this research, we prepared polyimide (PI) particles incorporated with nanosized barium titanate (BT) by electrospraying process (ESP). To fabricate the PI@BT hybride particles, nanosized BT was dispersed in poly(amic acid)(PAA) precursor, followed by thermal imidization in heating media. We optimized processing conditions of PI@BT according to variables such as voltage, flow rate, and concentration etc. And also we investigated the morphology of PI@BT as well as dielectric permittivity and strength of the composite film base on PI matrix. |
