제목 Development of facile and robust microfluidic array chips for the detection of DNA/RNA pathogens
초록 Rapid and accurate detection of DNA/RNA pathogens in latent period is essential to prevent widespread of infectious diseases. In this study, facile and robust microfluidic array chips have been developed based on rolling circle amplification (RCA) of adaptor templates upon the hybridization of target DNA/RNA pathogens. Physically entangled single stranded RCA products can form a networked-hydrogel, which can selectively block microfluidic channels in the device. A various types of DNA/RNA pathogens can be screened by visually identifying the blockage of each channel upon the existence of specific target pathogens. It is likely that the development of facile and inexpensive DNA/RNA pathogen detection chips may relieve excessive workloads in any circumstances.
